That jug of milk at the grocery store is going to cost you a bit more.
The price of white milk went up by five cents per litre on Saturday.
The New Brunswick Farm Products Commission announced the increase in August, saying it is needed to support the increase in feed and transportation costs for farmers, as well as the fuel, transportation and labour costs for processors.
Back in February, the price of white milk went up by nearly a penny a litre.
Pricing under the School Milk Program is not affected.
