A trade trip to Boston by New Brunswick’s fish and seafood industry has wrapped up.
Premier Brian Gallant, along with Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries Minister Rick Doucet, led several companies in a delegation to Seafood Expo North America, which is also known as the Boston seafood show.

The province’s products were featured before more than 20, 000 buyers.
Gallant says he met with several businesses and government representatives during the trip, in an attempt to build relationships and to remind them what New Brunswick’s seafood and agri-food industry has to offer.
“New Brunswick’s globally competitive seafood industry is a vital part of our economy, creating valuable jobs in our rural coastal communities,” said Gallant.
“The Boston seafood show was a great chance to showcase New Brunswick’s world-class products to buyers in markets around the world, which will help create jobs and spur economic development,” he added.
