The ferry to Campobello Island will run a little bit longer this year.
The provincial government announced the ferry’s season would be extended until Dec. 1.
That marks a two-month extension from its typical June-to-September schedule.
Campobello Island residents have been requesting year-round ferry service so they can cross to and from mainland New Brunswick without needing to enter the United States.
The government is directing those with inquiries to the East Coast Ferries Ltd. website.
