Saint John is mourning the passing of renowned local radio host Jim Lavigne.
Known by many as “Jimbo,” Lavigne died over the weekend at the age of 67.
Lavigne spent more than four decades gracing the airwaves of Saint John.
That included more than 20 years at Country 94, where he hosted mornings for many of those years.
Lavigne turned off his mic for the final time in June 2022, ending what many described as a legendary career.
He is remembered for his on-air presence and infectious sense of humour.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been released.
